My 401K Pilot™ is a division of CPS Investment Advisors, an independent professional money management firm located in Lakeland, Florida. The firm (CPS) was established in 1975 by Chas P. Smith as a traditional tax and accounting firm, with an emphasis on financial planning. Because clients began to ask for specific help with their investments, the practice expanded in 1989 to include money management, and became a Registered Investment Advisory firm. CPS was one of the first CPA firms in the country leading the way to registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The money management team at CPS Investment Advisors (CPS) is comprised of Certified Public Accountants who are also Personal Financial Specialists as designated by the American Institute of CPA's, and each has earned the Certificate of Educational Achievement Award in Personal Financial Planning from the AICPA. They each contribute a broad background of experience in financial planning and investments and are frequent authors and lecturers in local, state and national venues. The firm currently manages over $400 million in assets for individuals, corporations and retirement plan investors.
